Boxing W.A.Inc. is the sporting body in charge of guiding Olympic style boxing in Western Australia. Boxing is an Olympic sport that is in a time of renewed interest and popularity. Boxing W.A.Inc is helping to develop West Australian boxing into a high profile sport that will help many young men and women achieve their goals.
Boxing has an important role in working with youth, seeking involvement in extremely challenge activities. These young people drawn from diverse social and cultural back grounds are able to express themselves through achieving a high level of fitness and a discipline in their actions that engenders a growth in self-esteem and personal worth.
Participants in Olympic style boxing, whether they are the boxers, coaches or officials, recognize that through good management and strict application of safety practices, boxing is a safe and healthy sport that has a place of significance in the general community.
Although it is a desire of coaches and officials to develop champions with the ultimate goal of winning GOLD at an Olympic games, the best work and the greatest success for boxing has been in character building and fitness aspects for all participants of the sport
